His research interests include using quantitative and qualitative characteristics of trees to assess the viability and silvicultural value of stands; determining the relationship between biometric features of trees and features of their environment versus the growth and development of fir, spruce, beech, larch, and oak; optimization of silvicultural treatments in terms of productivity, quality of raw material produced, and stand resistance to abiotic damage; analysis of the dynamics of forest root systems development in adolescence and its impact on growth and vitality in adulthood; studies on the silvicultural suitability of forest tree ecotypes; reconstruction of forest stands.
