About the journal
Forest Resources Management is an open-access scientific journal published by the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Agriculture in Kraków. The journal continues the tradition of the annual publication of the Kraków Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences entitled Acta Agraria et Silvestria, series Silvestris, which has been published since 1961.
In 2019, the title Acta Agraria et Silvestria, series Silvestris, was changed to Acta Silvestria. Since 2026, the journal has been published under the title Forest Resources Management.
Forest Resources Management publishes original research articles and review papers covering forestry in its various dimensions, including natural, technical, economic, and social aspects. The journal’s scope includes, among others, biodiversity, forest ecology, forest resource management, forest economics, the social functions of forests, and challenges related to climate change.
